The future is HERE, are you ready?
Hi, I’m Tom Meyers, a practising osteopath (D.O., MSc. Ost), Body-Centred Stress Coach, Founder and International Instructor of The Reaset Approach, and author of several books, including Futurize Yourself and The Futures Effect. Recognised by my peers as an Evolutionary Wellbeing and Body-Centred Stress Expert, I draw on nearly 20 years of experience as a manual therapist to deliver engaging, inspirational talks on the impact of our fast-changing—and often challenging—world on stress levels, health, and well-being, all from an evolutionary and futures-oriented perspective.
In my practice, I see first-hand how people struggle physically, emotionally, and psychologically with the rapid pace of change. These struggles affect not only individuals but also ripple through businesses and organisations, influencing performance and well-being at every level. Driven by a deep commitment to make a meaningful impact, I’ve created a series of talks to provide practical insights and actionable information to help people become fitfull and maintain health in the midst of constant change.
These talks are rooted in my concern for the future of our health and well-being in an increasingly unpredictable world. We may be living in one of the most transformational—and exciting—eras in human history, offering incredible opportunities, yet it also brings unprecedented challenges. Rapidly emerging technologies and events like climate change are fundamentally altering how we live, work, and connect, challenging the very foundations of our existence: our health, well-being, economy, relationships, and environment.
To meet these challenges, I offer a series of talks that serve as a comprehensive toolkit for 21st-century health and well-being. The series is designed as a trilogy, each talk addressing a unique aspect of how to become resilient, fitful and healthy:
These talks are designed to empower both the individual and the organisation, building a culture where well-being and performance go hand in hand. I look forward to guiding you through these insights and helping your team thrive in this fast-changing world.

- Mind Your Body Before Your Body Reminds You: In this talk, we explore how our biology, designed for a different pace of life, is increasingly at odds with modern demands. I highlight how these "evolutionary mismatches" impact physical health, cognition, performance, and overall well-being—and share actionable strategies to begin reversing this trend.
- The Futures Effect: Here, I introduce the concept of futurizing—learning to align today’s decisions and behaviours with a preferred future. This proactive approach, based on principles from my books, gives employees the mindset and tools to make intentional choices that enhance their well-being and adaptability in the face of constant change.
- Crafting your DNA for the Future: The final talk equips participants with techniques to develop a "future-proof" personal foundation. This approach provides the stability and clarity needed to navigate ongoing transformation, ensuring that individual resilience contributes to collective success in the organisation.
These talks are designed to empower both the individual and the organisation, building a culture where well-being and performance go hand in hand. I look forward to guiding you through these insights and helping your team thrive in this fast-changing world.

Many are feeling overwhelmed by the constant demands to adapt to new technologies, shifting job roles, and increasing workloads. This relentless pace often results in burnout, decreased productivity, and reduced job satisfaction. Employees find it difficult to maintain eustasis—the balance between themselves and their environment. Tom Meyers was born in Antwerp, Belgium, in 1970. Initially trained as a chef, he spent several years travelling the world, working as a waiter in hotels across England and aboard Cunard’s flagship, the Queen Elizabeth 2. After eight years, Tom returned to Belgium and, at the age of 29, was prompted to start his own business—a gourmet deli in Mechelen. However, the venture quickly failed, leading him into an existential crisis that nearly caused him to give up on life. Through three transformative steps, which he now calls “Futurizing Y’ourself,” Tom overcame his limiting beliefs and evolved into the person he was meant to be.
Today, Tom is an osteopath and body-centred stress coach with a private practice in Brussels. He is also the founder and international instructor of "The Reaset Approach," a hands-on therapeutic methodology and treatment modality that brings manual therapists into the 21st century. As an accomplished author, Tom has significantly contributed to the emerging field of personal futures development with works like “Futurize Yourself” and “The Futures Effect.” These works offer valuable guidance and strategies to help individuals flourish in a fast-changing and challenging world—in body, mind, and spirit.
Drawing on nearly 20 years of experience, Tom is recognised by his peers as an Evolutionary Wellbeing and Body-Centred Stress Expert. In this role, he helps organisations build resilient, high-performing, and future-fit teams through inspirational talks that explore the impact of stress on health and wellbeing from both an evolutionary, body-centred and futures perspective. With his multilayered approach he inspires individuals within teams to manage stress more effectively by fostering a deeper understanding of how an evolutionary mismatches undermines physical and mental health, cognition, performance, and overall wellbeing—and what needs to be done to change the tide, futurize oneself, and create the stability through change needed to flourish and thrive in the future. By integrating these insights, Tom supports the development of a healthier, more adaptive workforce, equipped to succeed in today’s dynamic and challenging world.
Tom's journey from struggling entrepreneur to thought leader in manual therapy, evolutionary wellbeing, and personal futures is a powerful example of resilience in action. His life and work inspires organisations and their teams to overcome challenges, embrace growth, flourish and thrive in body, mind, and spirit in today’s fast-changing and challenging times.

“I inspire people around the world to get futures-ready and flourish in flow of evolution
and thrive in a fast-changing world.”
Over the past 5 years I have come to realise that I’ve become very concerned about human flourishing in a fast-changing technological world.
Although rapid technological change will bring along opportunities for every individual and organisation it will also bring about new challenges due the speed, scope and complexity with which these new emerging technologies are changing the way we live, work and interact with each other. This Fourth Industrial Revolution as it is referred to, is unlike anything we’ve ever experienced before and will lead to new health and well-being challenges that humanity will need to learn to cope with and navigate.
I have over the years built unique and novel insights on this topic and I have an ability to predict some of the health and well-being challenges associated with the different scenarios futurists predict. Not only predict, but also through my experience as an osteopath and body-centred stress expert, suggest functional solutions that will help humanity to thrive while embracing technology but not becoming it.
